Wycombe Museum is a family friendly museum that explores the history of Wycombe District and its surrounding areas through hands-on galleries. Famous for its chair collection, the Museum includes ‘The History of Wycombe in 10 Objects’, our Art Gallery, a 1920’s kitchen and changing temporary exhibitions. Currently our temporary gallery holds a showcase of work from Royal Grammar School Creative Arts students – check our exhibitions page for more. The museum is located in a Grade II listed house with parts dating from the 1600s and is surrounded by a beautiful big garden which is great for exploring.
Please be aware that our on-site parking will be limited from 12th June for a few weeks due to building works. There is metered parking on adjoining roads. We apologise for any inconvenience.
